We made it to Queenstown! We decided to fly down and flew Air New Zealand to Queenstown with a quick layover in Christchurch. I feel like I could write a whole post on airlines/service (we flew JetStar to Wellington), but that’ll be for another day. I will say that even on two short one hour flights, Air New Zealand is awesome and we had phenomenal service. Queenstown is absolutely beautiful! Our hostel is right down the street from the lake, which has one of the most spectacular views ever! It reminds me a little bit of Lake Tahoe.
Tomorrow morning I have an appointment with Private Chef Dave Miller of Karuna Fine Cuisine, the former head chef of The Bunker in Queenstown to discuss private cooking lesson options to learn traditional Kiwi cuisine. He’s taking me to the Mediterranean Market where they buy produce and teach monthly cooking classes. SOOOO Excited!!!!
