After our return from Ha Long Bay, Danielle and I boarded the night train to Sapa. Our first night train experience was less than memorable, to say the least. Sapa is beautiful! We spent the day trekking to three different villages, aiding by our local guides. We were joined for the trek by a lovely Australian couple who were lots of fun to chat to and even treated us to a beer post-trek.
If you’re visiting northern Vietnam, you should definitely include Sapa on your list. Also included on that list will be the bracelets and coin purses you will be guilted into purchasing from your guides because, let’s be honest, they are part of the reason you didn’t go tumbling off the side of a hill. Stay at the Sapa Luxury Hotel – they greet you with a delicious, hot cinnamon tea, present you with a bottle of wine once you check into your room and offer free breakfast.

Wow! So I am now all caught up and waiting for the next entry. Enjoy! You will never regret this trip. Love and angels all around.
Thank you sooo much!! We are having an amazing time and meeting so many wonderful people!! xo
Sapa is one of the reasons why I am going back to Vietnam this Feb. 2013. I want to explore Sapa and climb Mt. Fansipan. We have Sapa like here in the Philippines though but another country is different, right?
So there… I hope I could make it to the top of the highest mountain in Indochina.
